New York man sues ICE for sending officers to his house after he emailed agency head

David Streever, a U.S. citizen from Rochester, sued U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement after federal officers visited his home. The officers delivered a warning notice to Streever's wife while he was in Finland, stating that an email he sent in January to then-acting director Todd Lyons was considered a threat. Streever had written the scathing message following the fatal shootings of two Americans, including a Minneapolis resident, by ICE officers during immigration operations.
