Illinois State Police: Man dead after officer-involved shooting in Ottawa

The Illinois State Police are investigating two separate incidents. In Ottawa, LaSalle County deputies shot and killed 49-year-old Jacob Williamson after he allegedly fired at them during a warrant arrest attempt. Additionally, the Illinois State Police are conducting an investigation into the death of a five-month-old infant in Centralia that occurred over the weekend.
