Residents and visitors gathered in the Canteen District for Music on the Bricks this Saturday. The event featured the Jim Rice Band and family activities, including cornhole and a bounce castle near Brown’s Show Fit Co. During the festivities, North Platte native Lexi Nolda, the new Miss Nebraska, was introduced to the crowd. A video of her winning the crown was displayed before she departs for the Miss America competition in West Palm Beach, Florida, next week.
