Immigrant business group to sue over Mamdani’s taxpayer-funded grocery stores: Report

The Multicultural Business Coalition, a nonprofit representing diverse immigrant business owners, is reportedly preparing to sue New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani. The legal action stems from complaints regarding Mamdani's landmark policy of establishing taxpayer-funded, government-owned grocery stores. This coalition, which includes Asian, African, Caribbean, Hispanic, and Middle Eastern representatives, formed earlier this year specifically to respond to these state-funded stores. The plan to open these government-owned outlets has now begun to take shape.
