Wisconsin governor primary too close to call as Hong and Crowley claw for lead

Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley has defeated democratic socialist state Rep. Francesca Hong in the Wisconsin Democratic gubernatorial primary. After a race that was initially too close to call, Decision Desk HQ projected Crowley as the winner early Wednesday. Endorsed by Gov. Tony Evers, Crowley's victory represents a win for the Democratic establishment over the progressive wing. Crowley will now face Republican Rep. Tom Tiffany in the November general election for the governorship.
