GitHub Asked To Block Jack Dorsey's Bitchat App Following Indian Government's Order

The Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C) has requested GitHub to remove repositories related to Bitchat, a decentralized Bluetooth mesh messaging app created by Jack Dorsey. This Bitcoin-linked application is the target of a takedown order from India's cybercrime agency. The I4C specifically demanded that GitHub eliminate the Bitchat repositories within a three-hour window, following official government orders to block the service and its associated source code from the platform's hosting environment.
