Indian Streamer JioHotstar Enters Middle East and North Africa Through Starzplay Partnership

India's largest streamer, JioHotstar, has expanded into the Middle East and North Africa region by partnering with Abu Dhabi-based Starzplay. This strategic move targets a key area for South Asian viewers, following previous rollouts in Canada, Singapore, and the U.K. Instead of launching a standalone service, JioHotstar will operate as a dedicated hub integrated directly within the Starzplay app. This partnership allows the Indian streaming giant to efficiently penetrate the MENA market through an existing platform.
