Indonesia Halts Jakarta, Lampung Flights on Volcanic Eruptions

Indonesia has suspended flights at airports in Jakarta and Lampung following volcanic eruptions from Mount Anak Krakatau. State-owned operator InJourney Airports reported that volcanic ash spread across portions of Java and Sumatra, necessitating the flight halts. Beyond aviation disruptions, the eruption has also led to the closure of schools and the suspension of fishing activities. These measures were implemented to ensure safety as the volcanic ash continues to impact multiple regions across the Indonesian archipelago.
