I-170 shooting death may be linked to earlier shooting

Two individuals face charges following the fatal shooting of 17-year-old Alyssa Wilson on Interstate 170 on October 14, 2026. Major Case Squad investigators recovered a spent bullet from Wilson's 2013 Buick Encore, which traveled through her body. Surveillance and flock images show the suspected shooter's car near Wilson's vehicle during the incident. Authorities are currently examining whether this specific crime is linked to another shooting that occurred earlier this month on the highway.
