Introducing Cloudflare Basin: an open, serverless data platform, now generally available

Cloudflare has announced the general availability of Cloudflare Basin and AI Search. Cloudflare Basin is an open, serverless data platform utilizing Apache Iceberg and R2 Object Storage, allowing developers to manage large datasets without data egress fees. Simultaneously, AI Search is now available, featuring visual search via image pixel embedding and optical character recognition for scanned PDFs. This tool supports files up to 10 MiB and integrates with any chat model for enhanced querying.
