Investigation underway after apparent shooting at Burger King in east Houston

Authorities are investigating two separate shooting incidents in east Houston. On Friday morning, an investigation began after at least one person was shot inside a Burger King restaurant. In a separate occurrence, the Houston Police Department reported that a man was hospitalized following a shooting at an apartment complex. While the victim from the apartment incident received medical care, police confirmed that the suspect remains on the loose. Both cases are currently under active investigation by local law enforcement.
