IO confirms it will continue Project Fantasy independently after Xbox split

IO Interactive has confirmed that Project Fantasy will continue development despite recent cuts from Microsoft and the closure of its Istanbul team. Previously funded by Xbox, the studio has now gained full control and ownership of the project and its IP rights. IO Interactive intends to fund and develop the title independently alongside its other current projects, ensuring the game remains in production following the split from the Microsoft partnership and the associated organizational restructuring.
