Apple may introduce a photo authentication tool in iOS 27

Apple is refining iOS 27 Beta 5, introducing updated Liquid Glass icons for Safari, Siri, Settings, Remote, App Store, and Preview. The update enhances Siri AI voice customization, allowing users to adjust Pace and Expressivity for seven American and four British voices on-device. Additionally, Apple may implement a Reference Image photo authentication tool to verify provenance against generative AI. These changes arrive just over a month before the official launch of the new operating system.
