Demystifying the iPhone 18 Pro’s Variable Aperture

Apple is launching the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max on September 18. These models feature the A20 Pro chip, the first 2nm processor in an iPhone, offering 20% faster CPU and 40% faster graphics performance over the A19. The devices include a 6-core CPU, 7-core GPU, and 32-core Neural Engine. Additionally, the iPhone 18 Pro introduces a variable aperture. However, Apple has updated its support page indicating more expensive out-of-warranty battery replacements.
