Iranian parliament bill would ban US, Israeli ships from Strait of Hormuz

The Iranian parliament is reviewing a legislative proposal titled Strategic Action for the Security and Sustainable Development of the Strait of Hormuz and the Persian Gulf. This bill seeks to ban US and Israeli-linked ships from transiting the Strait of Hormuz. Additionally, the proposed legislation aims to impose tolls on other commercial vessels. The National Security and Foreign Policy Committee is currently evaluating the measure, which is linked to a new deal involving Oman.
