Isabel Davis Appointed Director Of The BFI Filmmaking Fund

Isabel Davis has been appointed Director of the BFI Filmmaking Fund for a five-year fixed term starting in October 2026. She transitions from her eight-year role as Executive Director of Screen Scotland, having previously served as BFI Head of International. Davis succeeds Mia Bays and will oversee approximately £20 million in annual support for U.K. independent filmmakers. Her appointment ensures continued leadership for the BFI National Lottery Filmmaking Funds within the British film industry.
