Jacob Chase Talks Personalizing ‘Insidious: Out of the Further’ and That Time He Made Ben Affleck’s Batman Cackle

Director Jacob Chase is set to helm the horror film Sleepover for Blumhouse Atomic Monster and Universal Pictures, scheduled for theatrical release on October 8, 2027. Chase co-wrote the screenplay with Bryce McGuire, based on McGuire's original short. Additionally, Chase discussed personalizing Insidious: Out of the Further, the sixth franchise installment. He aimed for the film to stand on its own, describing his ambition on set as creating the Citizen Kane of Insidious movies.
