‘RuneScape’-Inspired Animation Series in the Works From Lyrical Animation and Jagex

Jagex has announced two major expansions for the RuneScape franchise. CEO Jon Bellamy revealed at RuneFest in Birmingham that Lyrical Animation, in partnership with creator MoistCr1TiKaL, is developing an animation series based on the world of Gielinor. Additionally, Jagex is working on a fourth MMO within the long-running series, which will be built using Unreal Engine. These projects mark a significant new step for the game developer in bringing its intellectual property to new mediums.
