Less than 2 weeks after announcing RuneScape Reignited, Jagex is scrapping the whole thing

Jagex has canceled RuneScape Reignited less than two weeks after its initial announcement. Creative director Mod Ryan confirmed the decision following a furious backlash from the player community. The new game mode was originally designed to allow both old and seasoned players to start fresh. Jagex admitted that the project missed the mark, leading to the complete scrapping of the initiative shortly after it was introduced to the public to address player concerns.
