James Gunn, the DC Studios boss, has dismissed rumors that The Batman: Part II and The Batman: Part III will be filmed back-to-back. While Matt Reeves continues development in Gotham City, Gunn clarified the timeline during a Threads session to address fan speculation. Despite experiencing multiple delays, the sequel to the 2022 movie is currently scheduled to hit theaters in 2028. The production will not follow a consecutive filming schedule for the trilogy's next installments.
