Jantar Mantar 2.0 Fallout: CJP Leaders in Judicial Custody

CJP leaders Saurabh Das and Ashutosh Ranka have been sent to five days of judicial custody at Tihar Jail following protests at Jantar Mantar, which was recently denotified as a protest site. Delhi Police cited criminal trespass, disobedience of orders, and violations of bond conditions as grounds for arrest. The leaders allegedly mobilized protesters and disrupted public peace. Das and Ranka are currently lodged in separate cells while they are expected to seek bail during their remand.
