Australia stocks lower at close of trade; S&P/ASX 200 down 0.09%

Stock markets in Taiwan and Australia both closed lower during their latest trading sessions. The Taiwan Weighted index saw a significant decline, dropping by 3.41% at the close of trade. Similarly, the S&P/ASX 200 in Australia also ended the session in negative territory, recording a slight decrease of 0.09%. Both markets experienced downward pressure, though the magnitude of the loss was considerably more severe for the Taiwan Weighted index compared to the Australian market.
