Cruz labels Vance ‘insecure’ after 2028 remarks

Senator Ted Cruz has criticized Vice President JD Vance, labeling him as insecure following remarks regarding Cruz's potential 2028 White House bid. Cruz described Vance's comments as political bomb-throwing, suggesting such behavior stems from insecurity. While seen as a possible future candidate, the GOP senator maintains he remains focused on supporting GOP candidates before next month. This exchange highlights an intensifying rivalry between the two figures as discussions regarding the 2028 election cycle begin to emerge.
