Trailhead: Gemma 3 plans your walk on your own laptop - then gets you off the screen

Grass Pass and Trailhead are submissions for the Hacktoberfest Open-Source AI Challenge. These local-first tools use Gemma 3 via Ollama to generate personalized outing cards based on location, duration, and activity. By integrating Open-Meteo for weather and daylight data, they provide route suggestions and field cards. The design philosophy focuses on minimizing screen time, encouraging users to print their plans or use a single HTML page before heading outside for nature observation or walking.
