José Suárez, president and GM of Telemundo 31, 49 and Ft. Myers dies in helicopter crash

José Alberto Suárez, the 55-year-old president and general manager of Telemundo stations in Orlando, Tampa, and Fort Myers-Naples, died Wednesday in a helicopter crash. The NBCUniversal-owned broadcaster confirmed the death of the executive. According to NBC's Miami station, Suárez was among four Americans killed during the aviation accident, which occurred in Samburu County located in northeastern Kenya.
