Judge orders Trump officials to disclose who set up the $1.8B ‘anti-weaponization’ fund

U.S. Magistrate Judge Ivan D. Davis has ordered the Department of Justice to identify the individuals responsible for creating a defunct $1.8 billion anti-weaponization fund. This fund was designed to compensate individuals claiming improper targeting by federal investigations. The ruling follows a lawsuit initiated by a law professor and a former Jan. 6 prosecutor who are seeking to block the fund. The DOJ must now disclose the names of the masterminds behind the initiative.
