Kids' Fishing Day

On Saturday, June 6, 2026, families gathered at Yesness Pond for the free annual Kids Fishing Day. Despite blazing 90-degree heat, the shores were packed with participants and cars lined the access paths. Organized by the Wyoming Game and Fish Department, the event provided free fishing opportunities for children. Families remained along the shoreline throughout the morning, casting their lines and participating in the community activity despite the high temperatures in Casper.
