SlothDesk: A Lazy, Offline AI That Cleans Your Downloads Folder

SlothDesk is an open-source AI productivity tool submitted for the Hacktoberfest Open-Source AI Challenge Week 3. It functions as a private, local-first file organizer that analyzes file previews to suggest descriptive filenames and folder placements. Additionally, the web app transforms unorganized notes into prioritized tasks, clear next steps, and summaries. By utilizing open-source AI, SlothDesk automates tedious sorting chores for documents and messages, allowing users to maintain privacy while improving their overall digital organization.
