Lea Salonga becomes first Filipina with star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame

Broadway legend Lea Salonga has made history as the first Filipina to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The Tony Award winner was honored with the 2,855th star, located outside the Pantages Theatre in Los Angeles. Salonga, born on February 22, 1971, expressed her hope that this achievement inspires young Filipino children to pursue their own dreams in Hollywood, following her successful career that includes the iconic song A Whole New World.
