Little Bighorn Battlefield 150th anniversary

Nineteen tribes gathered in Crow Agency on Thursday, June 25, to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Battle of the Little Bighorn. The celebration featured a commemorative horse ride and a battlefield charge. Tribal leaders carried the Crow Tribe flag, and an American Indian Movement flag was present. The events included an opening ceremony utilizing a pipe, after which horseback riders greeted the crowd following their charge across the Little Bighorn Battlefield.
