Luke Dashjr Removed as BIP Editor After BIP-110 Bitcoin Fork Stalls

Bitcoin developer Luke Dashjr has been removed as a Bitcoin Improvement Proposal editor following the failure of BIP-110. Other developers voted for this decision, which was posted on the BIP Github. Supporters of the championed soft fork split onto a separate chain that mined only two blocks in eight hours before stopping. Consequently, Bitcoin Knots plans a new Proof-of-Work algorithm to counter miners who refused to support the signaling requirements associated with the failed BIP-110 enforcement.
