Mac App Store Apps Can Now Drop Support for Intel Macs

Apple has informed developers that universal macOS apps requiring macOS 13 or later can now remove support for Intel-based Mac computers. This change allows developers to simplify development processes and optimize download and on-device sizes. While apps dropping Intel support will no longer receive updates on those machines, Intel Mac users can continue using the last compatible version. Previously, Apple did not allow Mac App Store apps with Intel compatibility to drop support for these devices.
