Who is Jason Turkish, Haley Stevens’ El-Sayed-bashing fiancé

Rep. Haley Stevens and her fiancé, Jason Turkish, have caused division among Michigan Democrats by endorsing Republican Senate candidate Mike Rogers over Democratic nominee Abdul El-Sayed. Turkish criticized El-Sayed for using antisemitic language and expressed concerns regarding safety. While some critics blame Turkish for the decision, Stevens' mother asserted that the congresswoman made the choice to buck her party independently. This move marks a significant departure from party lines within the Michigan Democratic political landscape.
