Mahmoud Khalil Accuses Trump Officials of Conspiring Against Him

Mahmoud Khalil, a Columbia University graduate and legal permanent resident, is suing the Trump administration and the Heritage Foundation. He alleges a conspiracy targeting him and other pro-Palestinian activists since last year. Khalil was detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement in March 2025 before a federal judge intervened. To succeed in his legal action, Khalil must now convince a judge that the defendants coordinated their efforts to take specific actions against him and his fellow activists.
