MAI-Transcribe-2 Enters Microsoft Foundry Public Preview at Build 2026

Microsoft has introduced four MAI models into public preview via Microsoft Foundry during Build 2026. These include MAI-Transcribe-2 for speech-to-text, MAI-Voice-2, and MAI-Image-2.5. Additionally, MAI-Thinking-1 is now available as a mid-weight reasoning model for enterprise tasks, featuring a 256k token context window, function calling support, and Chat Completions API compatibility. Users can also utilize the MAI Playground to test these models and prototype workflows before full implementation within their applications.
