Hasan Piker backs anti-Israel hecklers who accosted Mamdani at Oct. 7 vigil — to the delight of critics: ‘Left eating itself’

NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani was heckled by anti-Israel protestors during an Oct. 7 vigil in a Manhattan park. Socialist streamer Hasan Piker publicly backed the hecklers, leading critics to suggest the left is eating itself. Following the incident, reports indicate Mamdani dined at Ayat Hinds Hall. This establishment is part of a Palestinian restaurant chain that faced significant backlash due to a specific menu section titled From the River to the Sea, which is linked to anti-Israel sentiments.
