2 men injured in double shooting in north St. Louis

Two men were critically injured during a double shooting on Thursday night around 9:30 p.m. in the Kingsway East neighborhood of north St. Louis. The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department reported the incident occurred in the 1500 block of N. Kingshighway Blvd. Additionally, firefighters responded to a house fire in the Penrose neighborhood, marking the second such occurrence this week. Investigations into both the shooting and the house fires are currently underway by local authorities.
