Man stabbed during fight in Loop

A 34-year-old man is recovering in fair condition at Northwestern Memorial Hospital after being stabbed during a fight in the 300 block of South State Street. The incident occurred around 12:35 a.m. Friday while the victim was with a group of people. Chicago police reported that someone within the group stabbed him, causing various cuts to his body. Area 3 detectives are currently investigating the incident to identify the perpetrator.
