Man stabbed, critically hurt in Gold Coast, Chicago police say

A man, aged 44 or 45, is in critical condition at Northwestern Hospital after being stabbed in the neck on East Oak Street in the Gold Coast. Chicago police report that a physical altercation occurred Saturday night around 9:35 p.m. between the man and an unknown woman. The woman used a sharp object to strike the victim before fleeing on foot. Area Three Detectives are currently investigating the incident to locate the suspect.
