2 fatally shot in Hyde Park

Two individuals, a 24-year-old man and a 27-year-old woman, were fatally shot Thursday afternoon in Hyde Park. Police discovered the victims inside a vehicle in the 5900 block of East Ellis Avenue at 5:35 p.m., both suffering single gunshot wounds to the head. They later died at University of Chicago Medical Center. A damaged dark sedan was found at the scene. As of the report, Chicago police have no suspects in custody.
