MapQuest now shows Flock and other surveillance cameras on its map

MapQuest has introduced a new surveillance layer within its application, allowing users to view known outdoor cameras and license plate readers. This feature includes devices manufactured by Flock Safety and is accessible via Map Options, positioned alongside traffic and incidents layers. The update, which follows a significant increase in MapQuest downloads during September, enables consumers to identify reported ALPR and camera locations to determine the level of monitoring present along their daily travel routes.
