MapQuest now shows you Flock and other license plate reader cameras on your route

MapQuest has introduced a new surveillance layer feature within its mobile application. This update allows users to identify known license plate reader cameras, including those from Flock Safety, along their designated routes. Announced on the Bluesky social platform with the phrase The Roads Have Eyes, the tool is accessible via Map Options. This functionality specifically flags the location of surveillance hardware to provide users with visibility regarding license plate readers during their travels.
