Republican Lieutenant Governor candidate Shawn Oliver has suspended his campaign following an arrest on Saturday night in New Bedford. Oliver, the running mate of Mike Minogue, allegedly operated under the influence and struck five parked cars along Dartmouth Street. Facing one count of OUI and other charges, the 42-year-old candidate announced his decision to step down on Sunday after careful reflection regarding the incident.
