‘Mayday’ Directors Break Down Trailer for Ryan Reynolds, Kenneth Branagh Cold War Buddy Movie

Apple Original Films released the first trailer for Mayday, an action-buddy-comedy set during the Cold War. The film stars Ryan Reynolds as U.S. Navy pilot Lieutenant Troy “Assassin” Kelly and Kenneth Branagh. Directors John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein discussed aviation-themed notes from David Ellison and Branagh's transition into an action star. The movie follows Kelly after he is sent behind enemy lines. Mayday is scheduled to premiere on Apple TV on September 4.
