CircleCI's CLI is now a Go rewrite with an MCP server bolted on

CircleCI released a 1.0 beta of its CLI, completely rewritten in Go and available at cli.circleci.com. This version features a built-in MCP server, enabling external AI agents to interact directly with the product. Model Context Protocol is an open standard from Anthropic, supported by OpenAI and Google, which connects AI agents to external tools and data. The new CLI ensures every data-returning command emits JSON and utilizes a browser OAuth flow for secure login.
