Tom Trombley leads John Plecnik in early Lake County commissioner results

Early Lake County commissioner results show Democrat Tom Trombley leading Republican incumbent John Plecnik, with the race centered on data center development, county oversight, and property taxes. Simultaneously, Democrat Lisa Lewins holds a lead over Republican Lake County Commissioner Morgan McIntosh in early voting and mail ballot returns. These contests determine the representation for the county commission, including the remainder of the term previously held by Richard Regovich, as initial tallies indicate shifts in local leadership.
