Discord Is Making Public Server Messages Searchable on Google

Discord is introducing a feature that makes messages within public and discoverable servers searchable on Google. This update begins on November 16, with full implementation for public server messages expected by mid-December 2026. The platform has evolved into a primary community space for gaming, hosting numerous large servers. Users are encouraged to adjust their privacy settings immediately to control which specific messages are indexed by the search engine and remain viewable to the general public.
