WhatsApp Now Lets Anyone Join Calls, No Account Needed

WhatsApp has introduced a guest calling feature, allowing users to invite anyone to voice or video calls regardless of whether they have an account. These free, end-to-end encrypted calls support up to 32 people without time limits. Guests enter a waiting room requiring host permission and cannot see phone numbers, send messages, or add participants. Guests can use screen sharing and emoji reactions. Additionally, WhatsApp is developing calendar integrations scheduled for release later this year.
