WhatsApp says spyware maker NSO Group is still targeting its users

Meta has reported that NSO Group continues to target WhatsApp users. According to the company, the surveillance-for-hire vendor has persisted in running phishing operations against its user base. This activity reportedly continues even after a federal court had previously ordered the entity to stop its targeting actions. Meta's findings indicate that the spyware maker remains active in its efforts to compromise WhatsApp accounts, placing the vendor back in the crosshairs of the parent company of WhatsApp.
