Meta's New AI Image Tool Lets Others Use Your Public Instagram Photos in AI Images

Meta has launched Muse Image, a new AI model that enables users to generate AI content using public Instagram posts and reels. This feature is enabled by default, allowing people to @-mention specific Instagram accounts within the Meta AI app to incorporate profiles into images. While the tool facilitates creating custom designs like event invitations, it has sparked privacy concerns, as users must manually opt out to prevent their public photos from being used by others.
